  1. Is Q2 the one on the right side? I tried it that way, but it's just a small booster...

    1. Sorry, forgot to add Q lables. Will do in a minute.
Q2 is the one a bottom left.

  2. I've heard the EQD Tentacle is based off this, do they differ enough to justify building one of these if I've already got a Tentacle on my board?

    1. I suspect they would sound close. The differencies is a few resistor value changes at Q1 and different types of diodes. Not sure if Ge diodes will give a more pronounced octave up?

  5. One of my faves! Would it be possible to get a layout for the Purple Peaker at some point? Simple box, but a really cool one.

    1. Would love to draw one up but I can't find the stock schematic, just a modified Purple Peaker at Home Wrecker / Runoffgroove?

    2. I found this one, which appears to be original with the exception of an added 2.2m input and output resistor. You’d think it’d be more prevalent, but I guess it’s not that fashionable?

  6. Cool circuit, and if you replace the 2nd 10k from the left with a 20kb pot you get the famous nulling mod.

  7. Fuzzhead, Would it be possible to add a modded layout to the Green Ringer? Mods are here. https://johannburkard.de/blog/music/effects/dan-armstrong-green-ringer-mods.html

  8. I realize previous post is alternate transistors (PNP mains instead of NPN) Possible to invert to NPN? It incorporates some cool ideas though. Gain and Null mods here also https://www.reddit.com/r/diypedals/comments/oxwy0p/green_ringer_w_useful_additionsmods/ If it is unappealing please disregard. Thanks again for keeping me sane and busy. Cheers
