  3. Verified. I expected this one to sound like a Guv'nor with a selection of different diodes. But it's pretty over the top (as Fran's circuits often are). The different diodes make some difference but it's so fuzzy, they don't make a world of difference. Pretty fun though. Very loud too, even with a couple of 1n34a's clipping. Thanks as always Anders. Hope you and your family are well..

    2. It does sound like a Guv'nor essentially. I missed not one but two connections. This is why you don't speed build in the night when you should be resting kids. It sounds pretty cool though. It ranges from reasonable and drivey to unreasonably fuzzy. Thanks for the layout A.

    3. Thanks Tom.
By your description of how it sounds, I'm quite eager to build this. Funny thing that the circuit is pretty far from a Guvnor'. Just take a look at the schematic:

Fran did a clever thing here to keep the volume even for each diode setting.

    5. I found that thread on FSB. That's what made me realize I must've made an error by the creators description of the pedal. I gave it a proper test this morning and understand some of what he didn't seem to like about it I guess. But you have so many options here. There is something unique about how it "feels". Some positions seem to be more about driving an amp and other settings will give you gobs of gain. It's a little fizzy which I don't hate personally. Hopefully it isn't down to a mistake somewhere on my part. Thanks again.
