Hi fuzzhead! Thanks for posting this one! I can verify this one works. I built it tonight and I miraculously had just enough pots to complete it. I'll compare it to videos of the Talons tomorrow to see if I hear any major differences but I've been curious about this one for awhile (since it's similar to a Rat but Earthquaker stop making them). In my opinion, it sounds pretty awesome and I'll be boxing this one up soon. Thank you!
Do you just want to get more gain out it? An easier fix would be to use a higher-resistance gain pot, A1M, or perhaps a B-taper so it gets gnarly faster. If you really want to go for hard clipping, there's a bit of shuffling that has to happen: 1) move the 100pf cap from column 5 to column 6. 2) move the right-hand red LED from column 6 to column 5. 3) move the red LEDs up one row, to F4/G4 and F5/G5. I've no idea how that will sound. If you decide you don't like it, at least it will be easy to put everything back in its original place.
