Deep Trip BOG

  1. This was a big build, but a very quiet and versatile Fuzz Face. The tone controls work well for tone shaping, as does the bias control.

    1. Hey I should have entered my comment from a couple days ago as a reply to you since you built both circuits. Can you write a short comparison between this and the Lunar Module?

    1. Yes, they are really similar to BC549C's.

  4. Could you write a few things comparing this to the Mini Deluxe Lunar Module you built? I built the Lunar Module (5 knob) and love it, but now I'm curious about this one. There appears to be some similarities (silicon FF derivative w/ high and low knobs and buffered), but plenty of differences. So I'm wondering how you would describe the differences in sound. Thanks.

  5. It works properly, but it is very noisy when turning up the fuzz and bias controls.
I mean the hum is more than usual

    Any idea for reducted it?

  6. BOM DIA. O PONTECIÔMETRO (C1K) DE FUZZ, QUANDO ESTÁ CHEGANDO AO MÁXIMO DAR UM "SALTO" NO EFEITO, INDO PARA O MÁXIMO.
JA TESTEI OUTROS POTENCIOMETROS, MAS SEM ÊXITO.
    ALGUMA SOLUÇÃO?
    GRATO.

  8. GOOD AFTERNOON. WHEN CONNECTING THE SOURCE TO THE PEDAL AND ACTIVATE THE SWITCH, WAIT 5 SECONDS TO AIR THE EFFECT. ANY SOLUTION?

  9. Got this working but i'm not quite understanding how the bias is working. The trimmer is effecting the collector of q2. I can get it close to-4v, but with no signal. Turn it all the way back to sub 1v and it works. The external bias is effecting q3 and by 12 o clock it starts to gate, which is fine, but the internal trimmer should be effecting the range of that bias on q3 more than it is. It sounds good, pretty much like the demos, but in a bit of a strange way. Anybody else notice this?
