Hello, I built it yesterday : it's a great overdrive, very nice!
I used a 5534, and it didn't work, but i swapped it for a TL071 and it's fine. I didn't put the 47pF compensation cap in the circuit.
I find the treble to have a very wide range of boost/cut, while the bass eq is more subtle. Would increasing the value of the 100nF cap going to "low" lug #1 (row 17) help increasing the bass eq range? Or using a 250k pot?
Yes, I think a 250k pot might work. You could also try a smaller value for 82k resistor that connects to Hi 1/ Lo 2,3. But it looks like Hi and Lo controls is very intereactive so a resistor change might affect the Hi pot as well...

DeleteI will try with 250K for both Hi and Lo, thanks.
