Hey all - I've been doing a lot of looking at the different schematics out there for this legendary noisemaker, and I'm currently trying to draw up a layout for the Holy Island schematic with mods ) because EFFECTS LOOP in between the repeat and wet control!!! Anyway - Im wondering if the way the voltage divider that biases the + inputs of the op amps will work as it is drawn here. It looks like the 47uF cap and the 10k resistors from ground and 9V aren't connecting the way they should in order to cut the 9 down to 4.5v for IC1's pin3&5 - anyone else want to look at one of the schematics for this and tell me I am wrong?
Actually - I AM totally wrong about that. Both the strip that pin 5 is on as well as the one pin 3 is on are biased correctly and they are connected so, even tho I have not built this layout, I'm pretty sure it will work properly.
Hi Chris! Did you ever finish the FX-Loop on this one? Super interested in how you shove it in there. I just started designing little projects and changing things here and there, but was not able to wrap my head around how to include an fx-loop to delays yet (super useful mod in my opinion).
So I did finish a layout for the Holy Island version of this with the effects loop. I haven't yet built it so it is unverified. But I'll post that layout to my own blog later today and reply here with a comment and include a link to the drawing! -Chris
