Two new layouts which both is verified. One with stock circuit and one with "Response mod" which is similar to the "Reutz mod" for Proco Rat.
For more overall gain on tap you can increase 4,7k resistor to 8,2k-12k.

Hey ,
ReplyDeleteJust started to build it and saw that it mentioned 10 links , but I see 11 .
Is there another link in row 6 near the 1uf capacitor as well?
Yes thats correct. Updated the layout with corrected label. Thanks for the heads up. I really like this one, one of my favorites.
DeleteThanks to you for the layout!

DeleteI've been eyeing this one for a while and justing getting round to it now. For the response pot, I've only a 5kC to hand at the moment. If I were to use this instead will is make a massive difference?
ReplyDeleteIf you tack a 1k5 resistor across lugs 1 and 3 of a 5k pot it should give you about 1k. Something to keep in mind if you try the 5k and it's too much. The sweep might be bunched up somewhere in the pot rotation, but it usually works fine in a pinch.
