Thanks so much for keeping this amazing community alive. It's always a good day when there's new layouts on the front page :)
Would a layout for an Ibanez FP-777 Flying Pan be possible? I think a suitable schematic can be found here: https://www.tonehome.de/ibanez/big-box-series/fp-777-flying-pan/
Alternatively, BYOC once offered the amazingly named Soaring Skillet - the schematic is available in the build documentation: https://byocelectronics.com/soaringskilletinstructions.pdf
Hey, I just finished a vero for the panning circuit. Just that side is 30x20, 40 cuts, and 14 jumpers. I need to spend some more time proofreading, but this might be a nice standalone circuit to pair with various modulation pedals.
It sounds as expected, a Marshall sound. However, the single-coil pickups are a bit noisy, so a buffer pedal seems necessary up front.
I tried using the NE5532 and OPA2134 on the palce of IC1, and there was almost no noise. But in this case, the sound was less aggressive and slightly smoother.

DeleteHappy Landscaper requested a layout of the Ibanez FP777, a phaser and stereo Panner. I have made a Stripboard of the panning circuit.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI built one using this layout.
