I think you can tag it. Everything seems to work as it should. Creepy, lo-fi, oscillating, deep reverb. It has a ton of volume too which is appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing your work J. The momentary feedback switch is a nice feature too. Oh yeah, the layout is 24x22. Thanx again.
I keep forgetting to add a footnote to my layouts: The second ground is not necessary, just my personal way of doing things. One ground is for the power jack, the second ground is for audio jacks and footswitches.
They are connected through several ground jumpers but not directly. Follow the links from Ground 1 and you'll see it.
As for troubleshooting - Make sure the l7805 is thenright way. Same goes for the mosfet. Some brands change pinouts. Don't forget the cuts under the 100k on the lower right hand side. There is a fair amount of offload wiring so double check that.
thanks a lot! i get some reverb and swell but no guitar sound through. in some settings if i strum really really hard i can get something so i guess is something about the opamp, no? (the gain and volume seem to work as they should) also i'm not quite sure i had a 9.1v zener there 'cause mine got kind of shuffled in the box. which values would be admissible for that?any clues?
could you, please, point out where to place a pot to control mod speed and depth? it's awesome that you made it, thanks. also, is it possible to make toggles for kill dry instead of footswitches?
You could easily make the dry kill a toggle. You only need a spdt if you don't want an led. Dpst if you do want the led. I never use it so you could also omit it. If you omit it then put a jumper where dry kill 1 and 2 are.
As for speed and depth, there is no modulation in this pedal. I think jptr has a new version with modulation but thats not the model I traced.
Looks good Jordan. Any guess as to what Zener to try? Maybe a 9.1V

That value would make sense, Tom - since the mosfet supply is not coming from the 5v regulator but from the 9v itself.

DeleteAnd 9v1 zenner. Although technically I think you can get away without it. Its protection for the fragile mosfet.
You can actually use anything for that protection diode? 1n4001, 1n914,1n4148, red led, Etc.
