Umbrella Company Mayonaise Fuzz

A japanese boutique Big Muff variant with some bell and whistles. The 1979 switch adds a different stexture and aggression to the distortion. Doping switch is basically and Mid/Scoop tonestack switch. And the Mode switch (which is an internal DIP switch in stock units) toggles between two values for both clipping caps which adds some bass i one postirion. The 33k and 24k series resistors are replaced by one 56k resistor due to lack of space on the board.

Schematic is avaiable HERE.

  1. Those 100NF + 10NF in parallel is a strange choise. I really don't think that adding 10nf will change anything to the sound.
    Sounds nice anyway !

    1. btw this first version of the layout is correct per the schematic, but the tone was definitely reversed as it was. so maybe it's a typo on the schem?
