Verified and sounds great! I used 2n4123 trannys and I put the diodes (In1914 and blue leds)on an on-off-on switch. It can squeal without the diodes, and the LEDs light up pretty bright when playing. I like the In914s best. You have to check out the AI YouTube video for this pedal. Thanks Anders! Happy New Year!
Really like this one. I had some OA200's from 70's and a few BC547A's so its up to spec and sounds great. I do like the idea of the diode switch from NJGTR though!
Built and it sounds great. Noisy as all hell, but it's not boxed yet, so that'll probably improve. I moved the 3 caps at the top right in, soldered in a pair of 1n914s and some 1n34A vintage germaniums and with two extra cuts and a jumper, I was able to add an on/on switch like to switch diodes like NJGTR suggested. As expected, the GE diodes are quieter and produce a more compressed distortion. Well worth building.
