The last layout of 2022!
Thorpy Fx take on a Rat. An input MOSFET gain stage with a bias control, a fancy high end single op amp and LED hard clippers. Looks fun!

With some modern improvements:
Another Exar box traced by Vitali from Drunk Beaver pedals. I've been curious about this one for a while. It turns out that the fuzz section are a Boss DS-1 derivate. The interesting part lies in the Eq section. The Frequency pot controls both a Big Muff tonestack (with a very deep mid scoop notch) and an active bandpass filter. The Equilize control pans between both filters...
It came out quite big but it will fit in 125b box if mounted sideways.

A pretty rare japanese boutique OD based on the 77-80 era Boss OD-1. The LF444 are a quad op amp with J FET inputs so TL064/TL074 are suitable replacements.

Forgot I had the later and more common version in a folder...
For the earlier quad op amp version there is a layout HERE.
This is pretty much a souped up DOD250/MXR Distortion Plus derivate with more gain on tap and useful gain control. But the most interesting thing is the "Sens" control which pand between a low pass filter and hard clipping diodes.

Per request.
The layout stays mostly true to the schematic. One half of the op amps was unused to I used it for buffered Vref which doesn't hurt. Quite an interesting design if a bit over engineered.:-)
By looking at the component values, this appears to be a smoother, tighter, civilized and mid oriented Muff variant especially when you compare it to Ultrastoner and TSM680...
Based on Maxon Distortion Master but with a hardwired bass control and different component values along the signal path. The buffered bypass swithing wasn't included in the schematic so I left it out.
The fuzz and wah section of Ltava Fuzz/Vibrato/Wah multi effects pedal manufactured in Ukraine in the early 80s. The LFO section was left out simply because the layout would be too big. The internal trimpots is taken out on the outside for external gain controls. And a onboard voltage inverter was added.
Based on Marshall Shredmaster but lots of tweaked values and a few addons along the signal path. So it might have its own thing soundwise...
