By looking at the component values, this appears to be a smoother, tighter, civilized and mid oriented Muff variant especially when you compare it to Ultrastoner and TSM680...
I counted 20 cuts on the layout as of Dec 26 2022. I cannot really hear the Doom toggle making any audible difference. I may play around with the 1.8nf cap values assuming that is what is being engaged with the Doom toggle. If anything else, I will try to put a few different input caps on a toggle to let a bit more low end into to circuit and see how that goes. Reminds me of a lower gain Russian BMP with a tight low end as is. I would say you can tag it verified.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comment. It's verified but not a great muff to my ear. Doom toggle doesn't do much if anything.
