While slowly coming back from an eye surgery, I can sit infront of screens again, at least for for short periods of time, I whipped up a layout for the newly traced Heavyhand. It is basically a tweaked Bluesbreakerwith some extra features and sauce.
Schematic is avaiable HERE.
Hope you're getting some rest man.
ReplyDeleteFeel better man!!Thanks for everything!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Fuzzhead,
ReplyDeleteI hope the surgery went well and that you're feeling all good and well.
Thank you for all your work and the published layouts :)
Thanks gyus!
ReplyDeleteIn a week I should be fully recovered, it turned out great. Hopefully in a month or so, the other eye will be under the axe.
Hope you are well rested and feeling better. Cheers Fuzzhead!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're doing well. Take it easy. We've got plenty of layouts!🤣
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly!
Deletetake it easy, rest your eye, time for layouts etc later, but thanks all the same
ReplyDeleteHope the healing’s going well 👍.
ReplyDeletegod i love me some king tone circuits 🤩 only thing i noticed was the R2/133k lead needs to move up from K3 to i3. otherwise seems to be working as intended. sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeletePerfect!
DeleteTagged and updated.
Incorrect, sorry. 133K have to start from a line upper, from IC2, near 100pf down leg.
DeleteGreat take on the BB circuit. Love it! Couldn't find a c150k pot in the UK but a c100k sounds fine.
ReplyDeleteI must say that I was pretty disapointed as it was. I've changed many resistors and caps to reach a more plaisant sound. The original King of Tone is much better to my ears.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick reminder to extend that 133k resistor up to i3.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder!
DeleteUpdated.
hey hey, so i was hoping to would be able to do a version of the heavy hand and soloist with the controls corresponding to the actual duelist layout?
ReplyDeletebuild this, very good layout easy fit into 1590b and sounds great, thanks for the layout, here short demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLWtxTw0oVU
