Hey everyone - I wanted to comment on this earlier but my phone has decided to not let me post from it so I'm using my laptop instead. Anyway - a word of warning about this circuit, it sounds amazing and is deafeningly loud, so I wired one up with the cornish-designed buffer and switch, which helps limit the noise bleed in bypass. Also - I used a 10K pot for the frequency in order to pair it with an expression pedal so I could do pitch sweeps with my foot while playing.
Wohoooo. I love DBA stuff. Once those ICs get here, I'll be building this bad boy.
ReplyDeleteWorks like a charm. Fired up first time with no issues.
ReplyDeleteI love these DBA layouts they are not the most usable of pedals, but lots of fun.
Many thanks again Fuzzhead!!
