Got the same issue with the tagboardlayout so I guess it has something to do with my power supply. It's not like you want to max it anyways. Verified :)
Built this years ago from TBE. Have always really liked it but would like a level pot. Would that just be output to lug 3 of 100k pot, lug 1 to ground, and lug 2 to output?
I built this upstream of a Hummingbird with a static resistor instead of the MORE knob (so about 5.5 k resistor to the 100 uf). Hummingbird handles the output volume. Instant Spacemen3!
EQD recently released the special cranker, a souped up version of this with tone and volume, a Ge/Si diode switch, and some different values apparently. I can see the level mod above but any ideas for the different values, the tone stack used etc?
I was hoping you'd do this one!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhen is the walrus Julia? If you need help we can work on that together, if you want I will send you my email
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer!
DeleteThere is a schematic here.

But I'm having a break from drawing layouts at the moment, the stuff I'm uploading right now is from my backlog.
Fuzzhead, enjoy your break, and thank you so much for all your work! Cheers!
DeleteIt's working but with the 'More'-pot maxed out there is a slight oscilating noise

DeleteThat was fast! Thats tverified layout #700.
DeleteI'll tag ASAP.
You can try a larger value for the 330ohm resistor, it might solve your noise issues.
I feel honored to verify it ;) Congratz on the achievement! Thx for all your work, gave me lots and lots of hours of fun with tinkering and playing.
DeleteI built it years ago from another layout, and I love it A LOT :)

Yes, that is how to do it.
DeleteCool. I'll throw this one together with the Level so I can turn up the gain without disturbing the neighbors too much.
DeleteThanks and thanks for all the layouts. Congrats on #700. Here's to 700 more...

DeleteLove this circuit. It's one of my favorites to modify.

ReplyDeleteNope, I meant 330 ohm connects to a parallel 100 uf and 5 k resistor, both of the latter to ground
DeleteThis sounds really nice!!

Thank you!😬👍😜
Just made another one of these for a friend... They're great simple little overdrives.
