  2. Issues with tools and parts (and the wife) have delayed the batle. But, finally I throw miself on the thing. The result was the expected: Great layout, great pedal, gigantic thanks to Fuzzhead! Tag it, man!
Small things: I count 14 links; and I just inverted he order between 3.3K resistor and 33nF cap (don't think it makes huge diference, if any at all, but just per schematic)

    1. Thanks Dragao, you never seem to fail in a battle.
Thanks for spotting the correct amount of links. And the order of the cap and resistor in the tonestack doesn't matter, indeed.

  3. Now I'll stay calm for a while. That is, calmly digesting some Wampler Velvet Fuzz in the cave. Unless I see any Benson Preamp arround. That, man, I can assure you: it will drive me mad! and will throw me out gasping and spiting fire as hell!... :O)

    2. For God sake, it was just an inocent comment!... .O) But just in case, I can tell you a secret: I laugh from J201 and his obscene prices (when you find it, and it's no fake). 2sk117, my friend - better sound, allways ready!

    1. The closest matches seems to be J112 and MPF102. 2N5485, 2N5457 or PN4393 might work as well but some of their parameters differs from J113...

  6. Any idea on the ideal J113 spec? I've got a selection of them and just wondered how crucial the spec was?

  7. Verified!!!

I think that the tone cap and resistor are not in place, i recomend checking the Sugarbag schematic just to make sure.

    1. Do you mean 33nF/3,3k connecting to Tone 2 at the bottom of the layout? Yes, they are inverted compared to the schematic but it doesn't matter.
