That is whati came up with, one standard and one set and forget that just could be put in a small plastic cup or anything. One question tho - from where i looked at it was also a 100nf for power filtering and the 100 ohm didnt exist there?

    1. Nice layouts you have there! Are they verified?

Not sure about the 100nF filter cap and the 100 ohm resistor. The layout is based on a schematic drawn by Storyboardist at Perf and PCB Layouts blog. I doubt they would alter the sound unless you have a really dodgy power supply.

    2. Only the first one, the set and forget i havent done - wrote it up for fun meanwhile to maybe build one in the future that could be fitted into something really small. Maybe a small plastic container or something so therafor the ferrite beads. I saw that there was a Arrow on guitar fx also tho that uses the 100ohm and also didnt use the 100nf filter so where you got it from is probably correct. I found schematic for what i drew up from "Pedalpcb - Amentum boost" and have not looked inside a Arrow.

Thanks for all the nice work here! so much fun, and saw some of you had done my favorit fuzz of all time and the only pedal i REALLY regret i sold, The Schaller fuzz sustain which i have to try to build some day. I wonder if it feels as good when not in a wah enclousure tho. But time will tell. thanks!

  2. I just finished this circuit, sharing a board with the black eye in one enclosure. I used a MPSA13 darlington and it is definitely now in “dirty boost” territory. Great layout, thanks for posting

    1. It will probably work but 2N5088s usually has a bit less gain than 2N5089s...

  8. Just built this. Works perfectly. Hard to explain. A bit of a treble boost, really nice sound. Like You've sprinkled sugar on top.

    Thank you!!!
