Bonjour! I think you ask about the value of the CLR? CLR resistor stand Current Limiting Resistor. The value depends on the type of bypass LED you are using. I usually use 4,7k for diffused LEDs and 22k or more for super bright LEDs.
This is an excellent resource -thanks for posting. I compared your layout to a circuit I found on pedalpcb.com. https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/vanpelt/ The pedalpcb circuit uses a different value for the resistor that connects the source of Q2 to ground. Pedalpcb uses 180 Ohms instead of 330. I found an image of the JHS PCB. The image is fuzzy, but looks like JHS used 180 Ohms in the photographed board. It's possible that JHS changed the value of this part at some point. I simulated the circuit with both parts and the difference is minimal.
Input ?

DeleteHi, just finished this one, sounds good. Thanks a lot.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Just tagged it.

Yes i do not understand the meaning of clr on the layout.tjat mean i Can use 22k on clr or 4,7 k.

You can use any value from 4,7k to 22k. It is up to you. Low value - brighter bypass LED. Larger value - less brightness.

I built this pedal and it sounds great. The layout you shared made the build much easier. Thanks again.
