    1. Hey Ian!
No wonder the voltages are off. This was the first PT2399 layoutI did a long time a go so I didn't know what I was foing....o.O.

But it is an easy fix, check the updated layout above. Just move the link connecting pin 2 and 3 one step so it connects to pin 3 and 4. And move up the 47uF cap from pin 3 and 4 to pin 2 and 3.

      Hope that will solve it!

  4. It probably won't make much difference.

  5. Im having an issue where this is very quiet unless I omit the led and just jump it. This obviously defeats the purpose of the pedal. What might be the issue?

  7. Not a dumb question. It's a regulator. It's supposed to be a 78L05.

  8. Sorry if this is a noob question, does the ground of the 9v go into the regulator row? Kinda confused about the regulator in general.

  9. It can go to the board Ground or 9volt adapter Ground, but if you’re using a Stereo Input jack, connect it to the Ring lug, which is the one in the middle. If you do, don’t forget to unplug it or it’ll drain the battery?

    1. The PT2399 runs at 5 volts, so the Regulator brings the voltage down to meet its requirements? But don’t forget to use a heat sink with the LM7805 Regulator to protect it from overheating?
