Hey Ian! No wonder the voltages are off. This was the first PT2399 layoutI did a long time a go so I didn't know what I was foing....o.O.
But it is an easy fix, check the updated layout above. Just move the link connecting pin 2 and 3 one step so it connects to pin 3 and 4. And move up the 47uF cap from pin 3 and 4 to pin 2 and 3.
Im having an issue where this is very quiet unless I omit the led and just jump it. This obviously defeats the purpose of the pedal. What might be the issue?
This one is driving me barmy, my PT2399 voltages are all wrong!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteNot a dumb question. It's a regulator. It's supposed to be a 78L05.
