Andrew over at Vero P2P blog played around with old preamps a couple of years ago. Converting them to 9v stompbox cuircuits usually with some germanium mods. I think these deserves more attention.
First out is a preamp from a AIWA tape machine.

ReplyDeleteNice to see these layouts here! At the moment I am building his take on the Revox A77 Input Preamp as a studio preamp in stereo without the fuzz pot. I build it for 18V power and with origin Siemens&Halske BCY79 and BCY58/BCY59 transistors. I would like pretty much to have more of those kind oft vintage studio things as vero layouts.
