Chunk Systems Brown Dog

  1. So I was bored and built this one today. Two things I have found. One , the mid switch doesn't seem to do anything. I hear no noticeable difference. Two , with the drive and dirt turned all the way down there is still a bleed through of the dirts signal actually, even with everything turned all the way down. I have not connected the Env jack but I dont think this would matter, maybe Im wrong.

  2. I built the Tagboard one and also had some fuzz bleed through. A forum post I read said it was normal and think of it as a dirt where you can blend some clean in. If I'm remembering wrong and real ones didn't I'd like to be corrected.

I also tried the Mid mod, but it was subtle and I undid it. It was an Idea on the older Madbean one and even they got rid of it for their revision. Just not doing that part should give you the stock pedal.

  4. @AlexS, I recently had some pcbs made and while I did have a minor error in my design, I have no bleed through with the dirt down and clean up. I sounds amazing and loud.

    1. Thank you for the update. What schematic did you use? Was it the Madbean one Fuzzhead did?

  5. I used a combination of the original and the mad bean schematic. MB is pretty much spot on. I deleted the bypass on the schematic as well. I used yellow LEDs for clipping.
