It is slowly getting better, thank you. I'm at least able to sit on a chair at the computer now, knock on wood. And take care Ian, can't imagine the horror if the flue is taking over your care home. I really hope that it doesn't and you and your patients is staying safe! When will this end?
This circuit is great for escaping the reality for a few minutes since it is Spacemen 3 in in a box.:-) Just add fuzz and wah and you are ready to fly...
Building has been a welcome distraction from the state of the world the last couple years. Be safe Ian and Anders I’m sure that we all hope that you’re feeling better.
The guitarist in my band is a huge fan of spacemen three, spiritualised e.t.c. He even arranged for Sonic Boom to come and play show at our school when we were young!
I'll have to be a bit careful using this in the band if it works for me because we are already stigmatised with the shoegaze label😂
Glad you're feeling better thank you for everything you do. You've played a huge part in keeping me distracted and not cracking up this year
Howdy. So I've just wired this up tonight. I've got a good strong clean signal, and the volume and tone switch work... But I've got no chop. (And so depth and rate don't do anything)
I used sockets...think it's worth trying to find a another 2n2646?
Because I'm never far away with a stupid question....would this need two of the on/off/on switches with three lugs?
ReplyDelete🙏
Actually I think it is two way off/on, and I can use one switch with three lugs and one switch with two lugs... which I have.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone could confirm I would be most grateful
You need two SPDT on/on switches. Just leave the third lug of the Tone switch empty.
DeleteOn/on - coolio! Thank you. Hope you're recovering well. I'm a care worker and despite our vast efforts covid is creeping into our care home... 😞

ReplyDeleteThank you, at least we are safe if we stay at home close to our soldering irons;-)

God does not want you to have a tremolo Ian.
ReplyDelete🤣🤣🤣🤣he absolutely does not! We need a tuna melt!
DeleteHi, on Fuzzdogs page he has a repeater that uses a 6027 - if possible could you make a layout for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have another crack at this...I've got some (allegedly) old 2n2646 transistors coming from Italy
ReplyDeleteHere it is!!!
