  1. EHX made a run of BMP’s with FS3700 pnp’s in 1972? Beware the SA1015 has a BCE layout?

  2. Also, it’s Kurofune, not Kurofone?

  3. Great fuzz sound!
I use silicon PNP transistors with Hfe values for Q1:95, Q2:97, Q3:133, and Q4:154. These are the best I've chosen from what I have now.
The sound is great now, but I think it would be even better if I used lower Hfe germanium PNP transistors.

    1. I'm sure this layout can be tagged.

    2. The range of the SA1015 is 200-400 hfe?

    3. Sorry that I don't know. I selected TRs with low Hfe from the 2907As and MPSA92s I have.

  4. Does the pnp do anything significant for the sound or is just more big muff?

And how long before Josh discovers it and releases a big box version?

  5. No, it doesn’t sound any different from an npn muff. EHX made em twice, V1/triangle(FS37000) & V2/ramshead(2n5087). If you’ve been to the Kit Rae big muff site then you know about pnp muffs, so I’m sure he knows about them already, but don’t hold your breath cuz it’s probably on its way 🤭

  6. Is this one running -9v perchance?

    1. No, it uses 9v DC and the circuit flips the polarity so a voltage inverter isn't necessary. I'm not sure why they made that choice but it's cool.

  10. Hi. Just found this. Pretty rare fuzz built by a lone guy up in the mountains. Nice swell/octave/fuzz. Here is a schematic of the pedal - (upgraded clone of the Wyllie Moonrock). Not sure where to request layouts so here it is. Appreciate all your work here.

    1. If you look to the right of the main page and scroll down below the comments feed, there is a search bar. And if you search "Wylie Moonrock" I'm pretty sure that Anders/Fuzzhead has all ready done a layout for this one.

    2. I should have done the search first. Thanks!

  11. There is a layout for the moonrock, but it’s spelled “wyllie”
