Flip q4 and then it works on the 1/2-4/5 side of the mode switch. The other side doesn't work. Im going through that stuff on the schem.
Just flipped Q4. For the second switch position, is it dead silent or some noise coming through?
No sound.
Sounds like the layout still isn't working with Q4 flipped (C at bottom)..? Watching the thread, as I'm very interested in this!
I would say it works. I had to find the right GE transistors. There are hFE recomendations in the schematic. I landed on Q3 OC139 50hFE, Q2 2N1308 118hFE, Q1 2N1306 86hFE.
So the mode switch is working in all positions as shown in the current layout?
In both positions, yes.
