Based on the RG Keen design. 12v supply is needed for the widest sweep which starts around 9.8v. 9v supply is fine too but the sweep starts around 7.5v.
That’s correct, I have one based on the same circuit that I built some years back, but I used a 15V supply to get 12.6V for a tube overdrive I built, got the perfect dying battery effect at around 10.2V.
The board could be even smaller if we can squeeze a bit the parts. Instead, if we want to build something bigger, we could include the part to get 12v from a 9v PSU.
