  1. I have bult this and it works -- with only one control issue. The area of the sustain knob that actually modifies the sound is a slice of pie only does so in the last 10-15% of the pot when it's cranked all the way. If you turn the sustain pot all the way down -- all sound disappears. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature. I don't know how one would fix this issue -- but for a thin slice of the pie -- it works and is actually pretty cool.

  2. Change the Sustain pot from an A50k to a A5k -- and put a 1.5k resistor between the Sustain 1 wire and the first leg on the Sustain pot -- and it works.

Don't know if that is confirmation that it's verified -- but if you like CMOS chip noise boxes -- and you want a neat little box that goes from kinda a fuzz to a repeating buzzing beep when you wheel around the Sustain pot to certain points -- you'll enjoy this. Weird in a good way and beautiful.

  3. That's enough to make me want to give this one a go. I have a surplus of CD4049UBE
I ended up with them after countless failed attempts to find a CD4049BE for the Great Destroyer pedal (I'm starting to think it doesn't even exist!).
I'll let you know how i go :-)

  4. My Great Destroyer & Double Destroyer has a 4049BCP in it? Which is also buffered?
