Built it works great. Just a couple of things: tone and gain are reversed. Also, on Dead Astronaut FX site states to use 1.5k instead of 2.2, which I have done. The circuit gets a bit wild dimed, but otherwise all switches and pots function. Thank you Anders!
Potentiometers in the layout have been updated to reflect changes suggested in my earlier post. Thank you for this site and congrats on 1500+ layouts! That’s quite an accomplishment.
I found that this circuit didn’t sound quite right (not enough mid, squealing, too much gain). I suggest the following mod: replace r10(100 ohms) with a 1k. This bumps up the mids while reducing overall gain, which also, for me, eliminated the squealing oscillation.
Just gigged with this tonight. It’s a really versatile pedal. I like how the voice switch covers the low mids and the tone switch (with the mod I suggest) covers the high mids. This one’s a keeper!
