Can't figure this one out. Can't see anything wrong, but I suspect there might be a cut missing somewhere. Vol, mid, and high seem to work. Low doesn't seem to do much, if anything, and the gain seems to operate as a switch at either end of its travel, but with no gain so to speak. I think I'll defer to someone with more experience with this one.
I don't see any discrepancies between the schematic and the layout. Have you tried swapping pots? For some reason, over the last year, my 1-meg A-taper pots have had a way higher failure rate than any other. Could be the culprit?
Thanks Sebastian, Yeah I wondered about the pots too, but they tested fine. Also swapped IC's, knifed tracks, checked and double checked etc etc. The gain structure is quite simple so I can't quite understand why it's behaving in the way it is.
For some reason I could't sign here a few days ago to point a missing cut track, meanwhile it's been corrected. I didn't find any other mistake. Let us to know if your build work after addding that cut track at P7.
