Devi Ever Electric Brown

  1. So, built this one.

I was doing a bit of a scavenger hunt in my components draw and decided to make it as per the layout.

    Worked first time 😄

Not a bad little overdrive. It lacks a bit of tonal character, but I'm sure a tone circuit would change that.

Works great, thanks again for another great layout Fuzzhead 😄

  3. I've come to really like the Devi LP. It's simply the Electric Brown circuit with a 2N2907 placed before this circuit adding a LO-FI feel and a random stutter effect. I built a version that switches the 2N2907 in and out. To modify this layout to LP specs you would simply connect the collector of the 2N2907 to the base of Q2, base connects to the collector of Q1 and the emitter connects to the base of Q1. (In this case, it would probably work in column 9). To add a switch, just isolate the emitter of the 2N2907 and connect a SPDT to switch it in or out. (Might need another column or two to do this). The Pre Gain function behaves as more of a fat control so adding a pot to the input to act as a sort of gain control may be useful.
