A slightly modified Tubescreamer with the input buffer replaced by a SHO MOSFET booster. The Calibre control can be noisy but I guess "Crackle is OK"....

ReplyDeleteIs it verified? I've checked some pictures and the 220nF Film capacitor seems to tantalum.. is that correct?
ReplyDeleteThe linked schematic and BOM specifies 220nF film caps. You can try tantalums but I really doubt that the sonic character with change a lot...

DeleteDoes the board work at all or is it the tonestack that doesn't work. Voltages could help just to locate your issues.
