  1. Long time lurker... first of all, thank you for all these lovely layouts. I was looking to do this one and I saw there are two "attack 1" (C1 & D1) could it be C1 attack 2 and D1 attack 1?

    Thank you!

    1. Thanks for spotting that! Attack 2 goes to C1 indeed. Layout is updated.

    2. Tag it as verified! It sounds rad! I have to do an intense test to choose between AC125 (more bite) or MP20b (warmer).
Maybe I'll add a pot in place of the 8k2 as a bias!
      Thank you!

  2. Is there a +9v version under a different name? or can this be converted? ....or is it just add an inverter?

    1. You could use npn germanium transistors and swap the polarity of the electrolytic capacitors to convert it. Or use a charge pump to invert the voltage.

  3. It’s the Tonebender 1.5/ Fuzz face circuit, so yea, you’ve got some options to make it negative ground, but I’d at least try it out with some pnp germs first to make sure you’re not missing out on any mojo. Just use sockets on the trannies & caps, you can always flip the caps around if you wanna make it into a negative ground circuit?
