Layout for the first version of Small Stone which was produced between 1974(?) and 1978.
Layout is based on schematic from Lectric Fx
Note that original had long gone obsolete 8 pin OTA chips so this layout is modernized for easy to get LM13700s.

It's a polarity protection diode. Use any silicon diode with a low forward voltage drop, like a 1N5817 or 1N5819.
