Where is Drive 1 should'n't be Drive 3? According to schematic Drive 1 & 2 go to ground. And are you shure about cut on A9? Should'n't 6.8k connect to Pin 1 of 5532?
Now you an tag it. It works. At least with a LM833. Kind of Tubescreamer on steroids. And no noise at all, like if it has a build in gate. And a bit fuzzy (but this must be some bad part or solder on my build). Cheers!
The fuzzy stuff was indeed my mistake: 1k resistor instead of proper 10K to ground. Corrected, and now it's spot on. Sounds great. But wanting it fuzzy, it´s just low the resistor of VCC+ to ground (I guess it starves the IC suply). Always learning with errors! :O)

Gotcha. Moved the cut to A12 and changed the drive connections.

ReplyDeletePS: I'll tell more once I get a proper NE5532.
Right on! Tagged.
