I'm gonna build this when I get a chance. I have a bunch of those 5102's. I might put this, the Orange, and the Model T all in one big enclosure. I need some pre amps to run into an Orange Pedal Baby 100 I recently acquired.
It's pretty cool. Loud and flat, what I wanted. Perfect platform for pre amps. I've been using it with a Sunn Beta bass/lead that I built and it's great.
This sounds great just finished it the only thing is my boost is knob cranked to meet unity with the preamp output can I change a resistor or two to bring up the volume a bit

ReplyDeleteCool! I've been curious about Orange Pedal Baby for a while...how do you like it?

ReplyDeleteYou can tag this one. Works and sounds great, alot quieter than I expected!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Tagged.
DeleteWhich transistors did you ended up with?
I used SMD J-201's and some old germanium transistor I pulled out of a Magnavox record player from the 60's. They say "41N2AA" on them.
