Had a little play around with this tonight. You build this as the schematic shows and you get an absolutely insane fuzz. It's distorted as hell and snarls.
Now this is no insult to the schematic or Devi Ever or Fuzzhead, but this one was a little too buzzy for my tastes.
So, modified it a little.
Whipped out the lower left capacitor and replaced it with a 330nf. Tamed the sound a little, but still not my cup of tea.
So I swapped the transistors around a little. I settled in the following, Q1 2N3904 and Q2 a OC71.
