  1. I want to give this one a shot, I ordered these ferrite beads from Tayda.

It's the only value they had with leads. Will these work or will I need something else?

    1. Yes, these will work just fine. looking forward to hear how the build turns out.

  2. All right, got it built. Everything works except the switch, it's good in only 1 position. The overall output is less than unity. That sad pile of resistors reads at 2.1Ω. It's 5 x 10Ω.

And ideas? I've only been at this stuff for like a year. I couldn't find a schematic.

    1. I've done some researsch and it seems that originals barley reach unity level. One solution could be to build a small daughterboard with a clean booster after volume control.
Which position of the switch cutting out the sound?

  3. The 2-3 5-6 position is the one not working. The switch checks out on the DMM just fine.

    Going by this numbering.

    1 4
    2 5
    3 6

    1. By looking at your pictures...are you sure you haven't mixed up switch lugs 4 and 5? (nice looking board btw)

    2. Ole Eagle-Eye Anders... That did the trick. Tag this one verified. That other switch position is the higher gain setting. Wow! Really adds some punch. Cool effect.

      Thanks, man.

    3. Awesome! I'll tag it right away!

  4. Is there a schematic available anywhere?

Note that the schematic has an extra FET transistor at the output. Original pedal doen't have it.
