Mosrite Fuzzrite Amp Fuzz BG500/BG1000

  1. For what it is worth (as this is kind of an older post) I built this up today and it sounds right. Used bc549s (different pinout) and it still sounds like a fuzzrite. Depth knob goes between wooly and octave-up splat. I'd say you can mark it 'verified'

    1. Very cool! Thanks for verifying. There is bigger caps compared to other fuzzrites, makes me wonder if it has a decent low end....?

    2. The bass is not overly heavy like a muff or germanium fuzz face, but very balanced. It is a really good medium gain fuzz. The octave is really cool too. Kind of sits along side the base fuzz tone like it is in parallel. This was my first fuzzrite build. I really like it!
