  1. Hi Anders, built this and it works with a couple of changes. Change the 3k9 to 390r and the boost pot needs reversing. Great pedal, many thanks

    1. I can confirm Ian's changes. The 3k9 should be a 390r. The boost pot is wired backwards. Crammed this and a Musket into a BB box. Gruesome twosome.

  2. What a great fuzz this is. Having the ability to add stages when required is very useful. It's a boost, a muff fuzz and a mad fuzz whenever you want. Add the tone stack for more tonal madness!!!!

  3. Dammit I was on the fence about this one. Now I’ll have to try it. All those switches are going to give me a headache.

  6. You should make it a twosome.

  7. BE never lets ya down. This is an awesome fuzz. As in it is enormous sounding. Thanks for the push Ian. The off board sucked but was worth it.

  8. Its pretty damn special but a real pain in the ass to build. Finally finished the Blunderbuss this morning and that's pretty amazing also. Blackout Effectors are making some pretty special pedals. Almost finished Crystal Dagger also, the fuzz is great.

  9. I've always wanted to try the Crystal Dagger. Ever since I saw some interview about Black Mountain's gear. But there's no way to fit it all in one enclosure. So yesterday I discovered that PCBguitarmania has a version of it. I may do that or choose one or the other side of the effect. I actually bought the parts for the Dagger quite a long time ago (all but the transformer) and never got around to it. Be sure to report back about the phaser side. I'd like to hear your opinion Ian.
