I have built your NPN version of this, and I really like it...But when I saw this new layout, I maybe want to build it again? Is this new version a huge improvement on the older layout? What is your opinion? Thanks!!
The charge pump let you use standard polarity power supply with PNP transistors. If you want to use NPN transistors you should probably build it from the ssame layout you used before.
