  1. Hi Anders! Glad to hear you are alright, sorry about the health issues. I wish your sister a quick recovery. I've been interested in this one for awhile as well. It's definitely going on the build list. If you find yourself inclined to work up anymore layouts soon, the schematic for the Creepy Fingers Lonely Hearts Fuzz was posted today on FSB. https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?t=32373

Thank you as always! Your work keeps many of us sane.

  2. It dawned on me just this morning that you hadn't been around for some time Anders. Sorry to hear that your sister isn't well. A good distraction for your intrusive thoughts is always welcome. That and a fridge full of beer. Hope it isn't too serious.

  11. It just turned out that the PedalPCBMania schematic have numerous errors in it, specifically in the Rosac channel. I have an updated layout for it in a folder which I will upload when the values for the Fuzz face channel is revealed.

So this one is tagged "On Hold" for now...

Sorry about the mess, will take PedalPCBMania's build docs and schematics with a few lumps of salt from now on...

    2. Hey Ian!
Still only have the correct and verified schematic for the Rosac channel (which is the interesting part IMO). The Fuzz Face channel are still not confirmed so I haven't posted the updated layout yet. But I can upload it if you really want to give it a try...

    4. From curiosity, I looked up a different schematic. Found one from pcbguitarmania, (probably not always an authority, but I have used them in the past). Strangely, the circuit seems to be completely different from the PPCB schematic. https://pcbguitarmania.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Dome-Device-Building-Docs-1.pdf

    5. That is the schematic that the old layout was based on. Yes, every single part differs from the unit that Robert at PedalPCB traced. I don't want to get into why PedalPCBMania posted this inaccurate schematic since I don't know why... I have my ideas but I rather keep them for myself.

Good thing is, we have a proper trace now!

I will probably post separate layouts for the Green and Red channel if there is interest.

    7. That makes sense haha. I'd like to know your thoughts but I appreciate your desire to keep things above boards.

  12. Verified. Both channels compliment each other nicely.. Tested with four 5088s for now but am looking forward to trying different Npn transistors.

  13. Just reporting back with some suggestions and mods. I found that high gain mpsa18s sounded best in all four spots. Also the green channel trim pot is super useful so I turned it into an external pot. Also, added a gain pot for the red channel which gives way more tonal options. I'm boxing this one for sure, it's a keeper.
