Devi Ever / Dwarfcraft Devices Super Soda Meiser

Very close to a stock Soda Meiser but with a ground lift control (Drone) for the transistors.

Schematic is avaiable HERE.

  1. Happy new year, hopefully not the mess last year was!
This is nearly there, but. Useful, that is, all the fuzz is only when drone is full otherwise there is beeping. Should drone 1 go to ground perhaps, drone 3 either floating or tied to drone 2? I'll experiment tomorrow, it's too cold in my work space now. Good fuzz though, looking forward to getting this sorted.
    Thanks for keeping me busy!

  3. This one is a no from me.
Same as above....drone needs to be up full or it's motorboating or tremoloing, and the switch is permanently in "mush" mode. Swapping the wires doesn't solve this. If you hold the switch down permanently it sounds how it should.

  4. I made this a few days ago. Drone needs to be right up to get any fuzz and the extra footswitch isn't doesn't really produce anything useful. Fuzz is pretty good tho

  5. Anyone tried removing that 100uF filter cap? Same thing causes the oscillation to not work on the Devi Ever Hyperion 2.

    1. Watched a few demos before building and it pretty much works as it should, it's just not that great.

    2. I'll take your word for it, but - I just checked the schematic and Drone looks like a ground lift for the emitters and the 100uF is not present on the original, in the schematic, or the other vero layout. It seems like it would be worth popping it out just to see if the effect is more pronounced.
