Here is a pretty cool overdrive with qquite a poweful eq section. However, it requires som fiddling to make your own custom 10kC/100kC dual gang pots for the EQ controls. HERE is a small tutorial at page 3. Second, the DPDT on/on/on switch type isn't specified in the info sheet I have, only "the coomon type" which leads me to believe it is a "Type 2" switch.
Note that this a buffered bypass circuit.
I like how you've used IC1's two op-amps for the incoming and outgoing unity buffers. Since this is a buffered design I'd definitely use the high quality OPA2134 for IC1 and leave the dirty work to the 4580. I'm going to have to order a reverse log 100K (or 10K) and tear it apart before verifying the layout, though. And I bet using an external 100KB pot for the "compression" would be a nice feature as well.
