  2. Verified! That boost is very clear, it seems to pronounce the highs and lows a bit more...which is not a bad thing! Thanks for the layout again, Anders!

  3. Are there any substituted for the ICs? I'm having trouble finding these.

  4. Cheers for this. Exactly what i wanted. super clean, no coloration. I've concocted a pedal in a 1590BB2 for the end of my chain with the MXR 6 band EQ ( using slider pots), this circuit as my main boost and managed to even squeeze in an xotic EP with switchable charge pump as a 2nd option for a slightly colored booster. Called it "Master Blaster". The 3 stacked sound awesome and can pack a big clear punch. Individually all sound and work great too. Had to add an anti-pop circuit to the LED for this circuit but other than that the OPA2134 sounds great. I wanted the cleanest and researched many options . Definitely picked the right one with this. Thanks again

  5. Hey all - I've built this one successfully and it is definitely a super clean, high headroom "your signal, just way louder" booster. I was wondering if anyone who knows more about electrical engineering than I do could shed some light on the designer's power specs. The charge pump on this circuit converts the input voltage of +9vDC to a full +/-18v - which by my math gives the opamp a full 36 volt range to work with. However, Creation Labs throws around the value of 72 volts? I'm wondering just how they arrived at that number (other than just multiplying 36x2, of course)...

    Anyone? Bueller?

Seriously - if someone who knows more about this stuff could explain I would be quite appreciative.
