Modern SLO 100

Russian pre amp emulator of a Soldano SLO. D1 and D2 is optional since they only add some compression to the overall sound.

  1. I went through the layout, it should be good to go
(Just a remark : treble 2 could be Treble 2 & Vol 3 that would save a link and a trace cut...but it's also nice to have 1 wire per lug)

  2. Is this the S1 or another variant? Thanks.

  3. Hi Fuzzhead, would you mind sending me your diylc file ?
I'd like to try to squeeze it down to 21 columns to make it 1590B friendly
    Thanks

    1. I will give it a try, need to figure out how to do it...:-S
So, somebody wants to put this in a 1590b box?:-)

    2. It's easily doable with 2 components/links sharing the same hole and 1 or 2 being not vertical, which I don't mind ;-)
(And moving a couple of trace cuts)

  4. I built it, it works and sounds good but there is something wrong with the Eq.
Treble pot sounds the same wether it's CCW or CW, and cut some highs in the middle.
Mid actually acts like a treble
    Bass is ok

    1. Treble pot is fixed, I had a tiny solder bridge. But the Eq is still a bit off, needs to be tweaked
