  4. Hey Anders, I was looking at the tagboard layout of this circuit. It claims the diodes are "unknown black glass diodes with a .5 voltage drop"... hm... do you think the Soviet d311 germaniums might do the job? I'm going to give it a shot and let you know

  5. D311 has a very low voltage drop, the ones i've meassured has a vd at 0,12-0,13 so it is closer to a 2N5817. I guess you should si signal/rectifier diodes or shottkey with higher vd like 1N6263.

  6. After a little digging online, I think that I will only need a pair of 1n4001 diodes. Seems like those have pretty close to what is needed for forward voltage drop. Let the dying squeak noises begin!!!!

  7. I'm only counting 11 cuts. Am I missing one?

    1. There's one under D2 and one under the 47nf

    2. I was counting those. I'm still not seeing 12 cuts...

      A12,B8, B13, C7, E7, F7, G8, H7, I8, K9, and L3.

Am I just not seeing one of them or are there 11 cuts?

  8. Yeah I only see 11. Probably just a typo.

  9. Thanks. I was starting to think I was losing my mind. Didn't want to start building without being sure I wasn't missing something.

    1. good days, can I ask you which row to solder the freq 3?

    2. Freq 3 should be left empty so there is no connection.
