Pin 1 of IC1 in the schematic is pin 7 of IC2 in the layout. IC channels works independently so you can mix them up, I usually do this to make the layout more compact and neat.
Thank you for this. Swapped 1k to pin 7 and now it's working. I like it however I dont find a setting without oscillations. Sounds good if you want something different.
Hey there - I'm still a little new to reading schematics and strip layouts properly - but I was wondering how leg 1 of the feedback pot connects to ground here on the strip layout, as it does on the schematic? Thanks!
This thing is verified. And it sounds beautiful. I believe it's possibly a modified Box of Hall actually. Similar lush qualities to Ian's demo of the BOH but with an added bit of dissonance from the oscillation that you can switch in and out. I built the Chasm too but I was getting a static situation from it that was messing with my power. This one is just as nice. Thanks fuzzhead
Has anyone built this?
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm aware of.
DeleteI'm not seeing how pin 1 of IC1 is connecting to r10 1K to tone 3. Am I missing something?

ReplyDeleteAny chance of a layout for the chasm reverb?
ReplyDeleteWill definitely take a look at it but it might take a week or so until I can start on a layout.
DeleteConstruí o meu com 2 TL072 e tudo como está no layout. Perfeito!
ReplyDeleteLayout Perfect!
