Gyrator Wah Wah

Been fashinated by gyrator tonestacks for a while and when I saw this wah circuit by Olivier Jambois I had to give it a go. Sounds very good and powerful and it is loud! Schematic, a nice writeup and soundclips HERE.

Works equally well as a standalone bandpass filter pedal but I recommend to change Wah pot to linear taper since most of the action is at the end of the rotation.

Ibanez ST-9 Super Tube Screamer w. Aion "Cirrus mod"

Unverified
One of the better TS variants according most TS lovers. Original had a 20kC dual gang pot for the Mid Boost control and since these are nearly impossible to source this layout has Mid Boost section modified (lifted from Aion Electronics Cirrus project) to use a 100kC dual gang pot which is readily avaiable.
But if you happen to sit on a 20kC dual gang pot you can swap both 7,5 resistors to 1,5k, 5,6nF cap to 27nF and 12nF cap to 68nF.

Death by Audio White Card Fuzz

Now verified. But as with DBA Octave Clang I felt it was lacking in gain. But there is a super simple mod to increase the gain of the LM386 amp. Just omit the cut between pin 1 and pin 8. Now we have both a fat fuzz or way over the top octave fuzz with the gain control dimed. Back it of for sitar tones or overdrive.

Original layout

Layout with gain boost mod.

Fuzzhead Fx Foghead

YAFF (Yet Another Fuzz Face) with some addons. After the fuzz section there is a J FET buffer before the tonestack to keep things clear. Tonestack is inspired by Death by Audio Fuzz War V2 but with a bit more focus on the mids. A ge diode acts as a clipper on the treble side which adds some compression and sizzle.
