I check quickly the tonestack because I didn't find a "complete" schematic but it could be ok. While, following the original schematic in the link in the description, I can't find the 22k in parallel with the 330pF. And, maybe is a minor thing, but it could be better put the pulldown resistor to the ground before the input cap.
I would like this blog was even more followed, I think it's a great source of layouts, unfortunately with more then one still unverified.
I took the tonestack values from from 3 band eq of a VH4 amp and IC 3 acts as a volume recovery stage to have both settings at a even output level.
22k resistor is added, thanks for catching that.
1,5M pulldown resistor is already before input cap?:-/
Yeah, some building buddies online prompted me to start this blog since I had a big pile of layouts and I realised that there is no way I can build all of them myself.
As for the unverified ones we're working on it, right?:-)

Yes, the pulldown resistor was ok, indeed. ;)
DeleteHi Fuzzhead, I'm about to do this one.. Just need to clarify the switch pinouts, 1 at top left and 6 top right just like op amp?
ReplyDeleteNo, it is like this:
Delete1 4
2 5
3 6
